Maras Salt Mines And Moray

You will be picked up from your hotel and driven 1 hour north of Cusco to the Inca site of Moray.  The site of Moray is made up of magnificent circular terraces once used by the Incas for agriculture experimentation. After visiting Moray we will continue driving for another 30 minutes to the salt mines of Maras.  The salt mines of Maras have been used since pre-Inca times and are still in use today.  The Maras salt mines are made up of over 3,000 salt pans; superficial pools where the water evaporates and leaves pure salt crystals.  The tour ends back at your hotel in Cusco City.
