Rainbow Mountain Trek

Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your Cusco hotel early, and we will drive through the South Valley for approximately 3 hours to reach the trailhead at Quesiuno (4326 m / 14,189 ft).  Here we will have breakfast and afterwards begin the trek.

The trail to Rainbow Mountain follows a lovely stream, and we will have a beautiful view of the Ausangate Mountain throughout the entire hike.  We will see herds of alpacas and llamas as we walk through small villages and interact with the locals. We may also see chinchilla or vicuna along the way.

After hiking for approximately 3 hours, we will reach our destination; the spectacular Rainbow Mountain (5020 m / 16,466 ft).  You will have ample time to take pictures and simply bask in the glorious wonder of this incredible landmark.

We will hike back the same way we came, and we will return to Quesiuno for lunch. After lunch we will transport you back to your Cusco hotel via private car.
